[Despite the only very slight dip in temperature, Fran has on a long sleeved shirt with an unbuttoned flannel over it. She waves from where she's filming on the porch, with her mug of tea, giving stale chips to whatever is under the porch.]

It's fall! Or, well, it's almost fall. Such a lovely season. I'm ready to be cozy, how about you? I wish there were apple trees or pumpkins somewhere!

( there are no words, only a picture of a row-adjacent cluster of apple trees. in one side of the shot, the very edge of an overgrown crop field can be seen. through the trees seems to be some sort of river, maybe, if you squint. )

I know. [Her face falls and she nods, sadly. Fiddling with the hems of her long sleeves.] I'm doing my best to stay optimistic. Even though this place is so much stranger than any I've been before.

I was sent a picture of apple trees. Must be a in place I hadn't explored yet. We could go find them?

Sure. I can meet you somewhere, if you want. [ If she can find it without too much trouble. ] It'd be nice to find out where the apples are growing.
